Proud of Our Win at the NHN Business Awards
We have won! With pride and gratitude we share the great news that Avontuur-BlachereNL has won the NHN Business Awards of MKB Midden. The theme this year was Diversity & Inclusion, something that closely matches the mission that we promote with our foundation NobodyIsNotWelcome . We strive to give as many people as possible insight into the primal mechanism to make their own choices that suit ourselves and this time. Every box that we manage to dismantle in someone, we see as a win for everyone.
The NHN Business Awards are a recognition for companies that excel in various aspects of entrepreneurship. It is an honor to be recognized for our hard work and dedication.
The jury members have visited the 12 finalists in recent weeks. During these visits, the jury members awarded grades for:
- Growth & Development
- Employee Policy
- Entrepreneurship
- Regional Involvement
- Innovation
- Reception & Presentation
The battle between the finalists for first place then broke out in the pitch round. During this pitch round, the finalists give a 2-minute pitch, with which they earn their final report mark from the jury. The jury's result: Avontuur-BlachereNL has won in the category SME middle! With the jury's word:
If only it were Christmas every day..., gorgeous, stunningly beautiful, entrepreneurship, courage,
mega creative, attention to people and environment, socially involved,
choose a good cause, smart, logistically very special,
collaboration with other companies for personnel.
Unfortunately, we were just 40 votes short of the audience award, but that doesn't mean we aren't incredibly grateful for all the support we've received. Every message, vote and word of encouragement has motivated us immensely.
Our COO, Antoine Fens, put it perfectly: “ It's good to win awards but the most important thing is to win together. ”
The words of our Commercial Director, Nordin Heus, underline the truth of our success: “It's the most wonderful time of the year. ”
This victory is not only ours, but our entire team. Our appreciation goes out to all our colleagues who work hard day in, day out to make Avontuur flourish. Without them, we would not be where we are today. This award is a tribute to their dedication and commitment.
